Reviews Methodology

How ClawScore works

Version reviews-v1. Editorial scores are evidence-bound; Users' Scores are moderated community ratings.

/ClawScore

ClawScore is a weighted average on a 0-100 scale: round(sum(score x weight) / sum(weight)).

A criterion counts only when it has at least one bound receipt. Criteria without receipts render as Analysis and are excluded from the calculation. A review with only Analysis rows cannot publish.

/Criteria

  • Capability
  • Reliability
  • Setup & DX
  • Safety & Control
  • Cost Efficiency
  • Docs & Support
  • Momentum

Each criterion may carry a weight from 0.5 to 2.0. At launch, weights are editorial and must be visible in the review row.

/Users' Score

Signed-in readers rate on the native 1-10 scale. The public Users' Score displays the approved mean on the /100 scale so it can sit beside ClawScore.

Users' Score renders only after 5 approved ratings. Below that threshold, reviews can still be submitted, queued, and moderated.

/Moderation

  • Scores are not for sale.
  • No fake reviews are seeded or manufactured.
  • Unsupported editorial criteria stay visible as Analysis and do not move ClawScore.
  • Public user reviews render only after moderation approval.
