Gemini ADK is Google’s Agent Development Kit, the Gemini-native path for teams building agents inside Google’s model and cloud ecosystem. It packages agent composition, tools, runtime options, and deployment patterns around Gemini rather than presenting itself as a model-neutral layer.

Its Review relevance is symmetry: where OpenAI Agents SDK shows OpenAI’s first-party shape, Gemini ADK shows Google’s. The comparison is therefore less about headline model quality and more about the SDK surface: setup friction, orchestration, safety controls, documentation, and how much operational state an agent team can actually see.
